Bas Dirks

Landscape sheet of near-white paper, very pale throughout. A grey-blue hatched smear falls through the middle from upper left to lower right, carrying small graphite marks along it like a line of handwriting and ending in one black wedge low at the centre. Left of it, pale yellow arcs stack into a loose vertical cluster threaded with thin pink and coral filaments and a few orange hooks; two small orange loops hang alone in the upper right, and the right third is almost empty paper with only a few tiny flecks. Faint, airy and warm, with one cool diagonal holding it together.
