Portrait oil on paper dominated by thick white paint dragged over colour: a yellow arc hooded in black at the left, red-brown columns at the right, thin cobalt lines above, and a white bridge sweeping through red low on the sheet. Airy and bright, colour surviving in slivers between the white passes.
